Swirly Scribbles LOVE

Hi guys. Today's card features one of my favourite dies: Swirly Scribbles thinlets dies. This die is amazing -- and I love using it for backgrounds like I have done on this card. I love the peak of the cardstock color coming through to make the card less white.

I also layered up some flower dies as well as a wonderful leaf die. :) Layers make everything better!

Deer Birthday

Hi guys! I've always loved making masculine cards. I know that's a challenge for a lot of card makers, but for me that's always been one of the easier ones (probably because they NEVER involve flowers...which is something I find challenging).

So today's card features a background die with deer. I love dies that can be used for a multiple different sentiment types.

Simple Layers

Hi guys! I love simple layers and dies give incredible details to your layers.

Todays card features a dragonfly die. This die makes putting together cards so simple -- as the die itself is so gorgeous it really doesn't need more than a sentiment to complete the card. So when I need a card in a matter of minutes and my stash is low, this die is the one I grab.

Flower Dies

Hi guys. I have another card to enter into the Simon Says challenge: Anything Goes.

I've recently bought some flower dies thinking they make cards look gorgeous and there's not much to it. Well, it's proven to be quite challenging for me to arrange flowers!!! This card makes me feel like I've finally mastered it (a little at least).

Masculine challenge

Not sure who all is even coming by this blog anymore these days -- since it's been so neglected the past few years. I'm a busy mommy of four little boys, so I've taken some time away from blogging to do other things. Little boys need lots of attention! :)

I've still been creating and making lots of cards. I've also made a big discovery -- DIES! Oh how I love the world of die cutting! I still love my embossing folders and I love adding textures to cards...but oh my -- what a difference dies have made

When I saw this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamps, I knew I had to start entering some card challenges again. I LOVE making masculine cards! Here's this week's card.

Flower Dies

Hi guys. Whew! Summer has flown by and no card making! I've been busy doing other things -- garden work and spending lots of time outdoors with my two little boys. Making memories. 😀

I've been wanting to try working with some Spellbinder dies I've had in my stash for over two years. I've just never found a way to incorporate them into a card, and they're too pretty to not use. I've finally come up with an idea that worked....and I absolutely love the result.

Here's my card:

I used dimensional foam on the flowers and the embossed cardstock so the card has a lot of dimension to it (you might not see it too well on the photos though).

So that's my latest creation. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're having a great summer! :)
